
Psychoeducational Evaluations
Our enhanced evaluations are comprehensive and tailored to meet and address each child's needs. All of our evaluations meet Broward County guidelines for psychoeducational evaluations and can be used at your child's academic institution. In addition, at BEE we utilize package pricing to ensure you get the best evaluation necessary without worry of additional cost. All our evaluations include a pre-meeting, testing with your child, and a post-meeting to review results/answer questions.
Presently all evaluations are self-pay only. We do not currently accept insurance.
Gifted Evaluation
Cost: Approx. $500
Giftedness is when a child exhibits gifts and talents that perform at much higher level then their same aged peers. As a result, they require modification(s) and enrichment to their education to help them achieve their maximum potential.
This evaluation requires administration of a standardized cognitive assessment to measure their intellectual functioning.
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Cost: Approx. $2000-2500
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complex developmental condition that involves persistent challenges in social interaction, speech and nonverbal communication, and restricted/repetitive behaviors. The effects of ASD and the severity of symptoms are different in each person.
This evaluation is a complex evaluation involving evaluating the child's cognitive, academic, adaptive, behavioral, and social functioning. In addition, it includes a comprehensive developmental history, information from multiple sources including parents, caregivers, teachers, and the child.
Intellectual Disability
Cost: Approx. $1500-$2000
Intellectual disability is a disability characterized by significant limitations in both intellectual functioning and in adaptive behavior, which covers many everyday social and practical skills.
This comprehensive evaluation includes assessing your child's cognitive, independent, academic, and behavioral functioning. It also includes a comprehensive developmental history and obtaining information from multiple sources, including parents, caregivers, and teachers.
Emotional Behavioral Disability
Cost: Approx. $1000-$1500
A child with an emotional/behavioral disability has persistent and consistent emotional or behavioral responses that adversely affect performance in the educational and home environment that cannot be attributed to age, culture, gender, or ethnicity. This can include disorders such as anxiety, depression, oppositional defiance, obsessive-compulsive, bi-polar, and attention deficit/hyperactivity.
This evaluation includes an assessment of the students academic functioning, social/emotional functioning, and behavioral difficulties.
Specific Learning Disability
Cost: Approx. $1000
Specific learning disability is a disorder in one or more of the basic psychological processes that impact a child's ability to listen, think, speak, read, write, spell, or to do mathematical calculations.
This evaluation includes a cognitive and academic assessment.
